STOCK NOTE
Our inventory changes week to week. If you're
looking for something specific, get in touch and
we'll let you know when we have it - or keep an
eye out for it.
More and more builders, designers, and homeowners
are choosing recycled building materials, not just for
the environmental credentials, but because they
genuinely perform better and look more interesting.
Here's why…
Old-Growth Timber is a different material. Much of
the recycled hardwood in our yard was felled from
old-growth forests over a century ago. These trees
grew slowly over hundreds of years, producing timber
with very tight grain and exceptional density.
Compare a cross-section of recycled ironbark to a
modern plantation hardwood and the difference is
immediately obvious.
•
Greater hardness and durability — recycled
hardwood often outperforms new timber on
hardness ratings
•
Tighter grain means less movement with changes
in moisture and temperature
•
Proven performance — this timber has already
survived 50, 80, even 120 years in a building
•
A patina and character that simply cannot be
replicated in new material
Why Recycled
Materials
Make
Sense.
Recycled materials give designers and builders
something modern supply chains can't: genuine
variety and uniqueness. No two lots are exactly
the same.
That creates opportunities for spaces that feel
genuinely individual — not like a showroom
display. Interestingly, when renovating period
homes, authentic recycled materials can
meaningfully increase property value.
Our materials have been used in new homes,
heritage restorations, commercial fit-outs,
landscape projects, furniture making, and art
installations. They cross every style from raw
industrial to refined contemporary.

What’s in the yard right now?
Our stock changes week to week as new lots come in
from demolitions, rural clearances, and estate sales
across NSW. Here's a snapshot of what's currently
available. Call us or drop in to see it in person - photos
never do recycled timber justice.
